El Diablo Rides Again (for the first time)

The year is starting up again (visions of myself at a crankhandle giving it a good winding up come to mind) and there are some interesting projects on the horizon including:

The National Theatresports Championship - Saturday 10th March @ The Enmore Theatre, Sydney. I have been selected along with Jase, Rik and Rama by Impro Melbourne (cheers and thanks) to trot up to Sydney and play nice with our chums from Impro Australia. I'm really looking forward to catching up with the fantastic improvisers from around this country including the Director of whole shebang, Rebecca DeUnamuno as well as some mates in High places (hiya Felicity)

Here's a pic of our team "El Diablo" (that's me on the left with no neck and a wayward pants leg)
Photographer - the amazing James Penlidis

Deakin Uni have asked me back to take on some 1st year Drama and Media again. This year I will churn out more superstars and wunderkinder no doubt, all vying to knock me out of the way...hey wait a minute...maybe I'll teach them philosophy and apathy under the guise of "drama" instead....yeah - that's the ticket....

more to come...

Here's some doodles I have been tossing out while playing with illustrator...

ugh ugly gif marks...

How to be a Happy Chappie (in a Natty Serape)

I was reading Peter Stothard's article about "the twelve things we need in order to be happy" and thought I'd have a crack at it too (adjust to suite gender obviously):

Lliam Amor's 12 Step Happy Program or "Wheeeeeee."

Sticking your nose in a packet of freshly ground coffee (an obvious one but neccessary)

Summer dresses and the occasional glance of intoxicating beauty on public transport

A well stocked second hand bookstore with old theatre programs and cheap records

Fresh sheets, two soft non-allergenic pillows and a tasteful doona cover, mysteriously made each morning

Businessmen who accidentally trip up in the street

An unexpectedly good meal at a last minute restaurant choice

A new black pen

Red Hot Riding Hood - directed by Tex Avery and released on May 8, 1943 by MGM

That Kiss (you know the one)

Wearing a hat that compliments

The Goodies

Hearing a piece of music wafting out of someone’s window and rather liking it but never knowing who it’s by until years later when they play it in that Second hand Bookstore.
